teams ensure up-to-date, reliable, accurate and transparent financial, accounting, management and statutory reports. Elaborate assets and transactions, carrying out the month end close processes and data integrity, financial statutory reports, general finance and accounting, controlling, intercompany accounting, performance reporting.

In this role You will:
  • Adhering with the tasks outlined in the EMS/QMS Systems of EBSC
  • Prepare draft returns in a timely and accurate manner
  • Carry out validations / reconciliations for countries supported (especially follow up on failed reconciliations / validations)
  • Carry out balance sheet reconciliation (BSI) work on VAT matters for businesses / countries supported, and supports the Accountant in BSI activities- query resolution may require support from a more senior team member
  • Process data additions and corrections
  • Prepare VAT Accounting Journal to be posted by Finance teams for indirect tax transactions/payments
  • Resolve queries and issues independently as they arise typically with reference to SOPs and prior situations, escalating for support from Line Manager or Senior Accountants where required
  • Works with others within and outside of the team to improve processes under her/his responsibility, analyse information and support problem resolution to achieve team goals
  • Supports the work of the Accountant when required and assist in collecting information, documentation needed for tax audits
  • Work to be carried out in accordance with the timetables and direction from the Line Manager / Senior Accountant
  • Ensure proper documentation on process activities performed and data used / created
We have the following requirements:
  • University degree preferably in Finance and accounting
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in related Indirect Tax Accounting and Reporting area is an advantage
  • Fluent English AND Slovak OR Polish language knowledge
  • Good level of analytical skills, numeracy and financial awareness
  • Customer- and service-oriented thinking
  • Readiness for action and ability to work under pressure
  • Self-confident appearance in relations to the internal contacts
  • Good communication and cooperation skills
