Our Partner is looking for a Senior Finance Analyst, Blackline SME, CSS EMEA
 
Scope of Position:

• Stay up-to-date with Blackline solutions across modules inclusive of new releases and best practices, investigate feasibility, support cost & benefit analysis for Our Partner and support preparation of implementation proposals
• Lead Blackline-related process improvements
• Engage with Finance stakeholders (Mainly Blackline user group) at all levels of the organization to ensure Blackline system is utilized at its full capability by Our Partner including leading network of business SME’s and identifying training opportunities
• Act as a Blackline expert in Finance Transformation initiatives and projects
• Build awareness and knowledge within the Blackline user and support community to enable a culture of continuous improvement and optimization relating to the tool
 
Responsibilities:

Blackline system and process:
• Support functional design of Blackline system functionality and / or processes
• Supports and documents functional requirements related to Blackline system. Has a level of understanding of technical requirement – knows whom to reach out (IT, MDM , EAS in case of technical clarification)
• Reviews impact, leads communication for change management and recommended testing associated with Blackline system upgrades/releases
• Support GPO strategy development related to Blackline Control
• Deliver regular internal control and risk analysis, and conduct system and process performance measures concerning Blackline system. Create and manage performance dashboards
• Familiar with system security audits and provide guidance on roles designs/governance Communication
• Support creating, managing and distributing change management plans, reports, processes, business policies, regulations and SOPs in relation to Blackline
• Ensures training material is up-to-date and Blacklines users has sufficient training opportunities
• Support issue resolution in Blackline system focusing on complex, recurring problems
• Collaborate with users to identify improvement opportunities, facilitates a network of super users
• Escalate issues as appropriate to Ops Manager/RTR GPO to ensure timely and effective resolution
• Participate actively in Blackline user community
 
Travel Requirements: Less than 25% international travel
 
Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with 5 years relevant experience in Shared Service environment
• Work with multiple groups

Required Skills:
 
• Strong accounting knowledge, R2R experience, including close activities, balance sheet reconciliations and journal voucher posting
• Problem Solving, Analytical Skills
• Customer focused
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented
• Ability to assess priorities and manage many project activities simultaneously
• Expertise in system administration for Blackline Journal Entries, Account Reconciliation and Intercompany modules
 
Desired Skills:

• PS, SAP ,S4 Hana experience
• Shared Service process understanding
• Certified green belt, project management experience
 
 
• Mature, responsible, driven and able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a diverse employee group and across many levels of the organization
• Collaborative work style and organizational savvy
• Eager to learn
