DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a new colleague to our Israel based partner company which develops data intelligence and analysis platforms. This is a full time – remote – position that can be filled in entrepreneurial form.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current technologies which are being utilized by the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand our capabilities
• Provide clear goals for all areas of a project and develop steps to oversee their timely execution
• Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
• Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives

Requirements:

• Very advanced knowledge in the area of micro virtualization – docker
• A good understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization concepts and troubleshooting techniques
• An advanced skill of deploying orchestration based production site – docker-compose, kubernetes
• Advanced knowledge in a cloud-based production environment – GCP is preferred
• Perfect knowledge in BASH scripting language
• Basic SQL language knowledge
• Experience deploying and maintaining relational database – Mysql, postgres
• Basic skill of securing production environments.
• Advanced skills in monitoring multiple environments to a single dashboard.
• High English level – verbal & writing.
• Highly organized, motivated, and creative with the ability to self-manage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively, while delivering high quality work.
• A great Team player with Excellent inter-personal skills,
• Solution oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
• CAN-DO approach.
