Big Data Engineer

Primary Responsibilities:

Create and maintain optimal data pipeline via UC4 workflows
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Spark framework (scala, pyspark, Pig, Hive etc) on inhouse and GCP clusters
Big data technology knowledge and working proficiency in Hadoop, MapReduce, and Streaming
Working proficiency in OLAP technologies, ETL frame works and Data Models
Experience in agile development methodologies is a must
Sound communication skills – both written and verbal – are necessary when dealing with a team of engineers and business analysts.
Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems

Required:

Degree: University Degree in Computer or mathematics Graduation
Spark and Big Data frame works, HDFS, Hive, HBase, Scala, UC4, PySpark, Ambari, IntelliJ, Data Analytics Studio, Jira, Grafana, Unix/Linux, MS
Office, Data Modeling, ETL Frames works, Agile Knowledge
Professional English language knowledge
Nice to Have skill set: Google Cloud Platform, Pig, Spark ML, Nifi, Tablaue, Jupytor lab experience, and Mainframes Knowledge
Professional German language is an advantage
