System Test Architect
  • Provide strategic direction regarding testing for specific areas of development
  • Representing testing aspects in customer projects
  • Responsible for the methodology of testing performed
  • Responsible for the design and implementation of the test strategy, including functional and non-functional areas as well
  • Help incorporate testability aspects into the development
  • Analyse current practices and processes, suggest and drive improvements
  • Align with the shared mind-set among System Test Architects
  • Act as the counterpart to the System Architect
  • Design and develop effective test approach in accordance with organizational needs (e.g. processes, tools, planning, scope, environments, policies etc.)
  • Support and provide professional mentoring in testing for the testers and developers and other roles as needed
  • Work with Product Management to advise capacity allocation for testing related enablers

If you have:

  • 5+ years’ experience, including experience in software development and testing
  • Excellent communication and prioritisation skills, strategic approach
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies and tools (e.g. TeamCity, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of test management tools (e.g. TestLink, TestComplete, Zephyr)
  • Experience in using ticketing systems (e.g. JIRA)
  • Proven track record in requirement management tools (e.g. Polarion, DOORS, HP QC, BDD)
  • Solid understanding of test first methodologies (TDD, ATDD)
  • Experience in introduction of test automation on multiple test levels
  • Knowledge of code quality metrics and code coverage tools
  • Knowledge of model based testing
  • Familiarity with various testing tools (Selenium, Robot Framework, Protractor)
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, V-Model)
  • Understanding of software testing standards and maturity models (ISTQB, Automotive SPICE, CMMI or IEEE 29119)
  • Experience in test documentation (test specification, test plan, test strategy)
  • Good English knowledge
