SENIOR STATUTORY ACCOUNTANT

OUR BSC PARTNER IS LOOKING FOR SENIOR STATUTORY ACCOUNTANTS!

Location: Budapest

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO:

• Be a support to the country controller in various statutory compliance activites
• Actively taking part in the preparation of external audits
• Ensure the accurate reconciliation between local and US GAAP
• Support intercompany recharges for the EMEA region
• Provide tax support (tax accruals, tax audits, law-required tax info)
• Coordinate the review of monthly, quarterly and year-end closing reporting
• Prepare efficient implementation and usage of statutory reporting system
• Close interaction with corporate departments and global financial accounting teams

WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM YOU:

• University degree in finance / accounting qualifications
• 4-6 years of professional experience in finance, accounting and auditing in a multinational environment
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance
• Proficiency in English
• Efficient communication skills and proactivity

NICE TO HAVE: 

• Knowledge of local statutory reporting requirements (e.g. for UK/Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Italy)
• Another European language proficiency (German, French, Italian, Spanish)
• Experience in SAP/Oracle
